What type of information we collect

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Why we collect personal information

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

Marketing

Craft Mate may occasionally send you offers and news about our products, but only if you have previously agreed to receive them. This may include via email and digital marketing channels.  Our communications are designed to tell you about the benefits we can offer, so that you have access to our best deals possible. 

Email newsletters and digital marketing

We send email newsletters and undertake digital marketing activities as a way of increasing brand awareness to our customer base.

In order to ensure that you agree to receive email newsletters we offer the option to OPT-IN or OPT-OUT at any time. 

You can contact us at any time to opt-out of receiving these forms of marketing. We will then remove your details from these activities within a reasonable time-frame, no longer than 30 days. If you wish to opt-out of email newsletters please contact us at lesleyharris@craftmate.co.uk.

Should you choose not to receive such communications you will still be able to make use of offers and purchase new products that are included in such marketing activity, but in practice we are unlikely to be able to make you aware of them.

Craft Mate are unable to process the data of customers if they are under the age of 16.

How we store, use, share and disclose personal information

Craft Mate is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

How we communicate with site visitors

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. Under the GDPR you have the right to request a copy of the personal information Craft Mate holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. We have a legal duty to supply, correct or delete personal information about you on our files.

You can delete your account and request the removal of your personal information at any time. This will erase your records from our systems and will prevent us from being able to assist you with any previous purchases.
